Happy Valentine's Day you guys!! Today, I just wanted to post a story time video where I tell you about a past Valentine's Day experience just to give you all a little V-Day laugh. I also give a little talk at the end discussing the day and my personal opinion on it. I hope you all enjoy!
Hi everyone! I hope that you all had a great holiday and that you are starting your new year off right! So far for me, everything has been going great. I've been focusing on being more productive this year, setting goals, and doing whatever I need to do to achieve them. I thank you all for supporting me these past few years and I hope that I can continue to not only entertain but to make some sort of impact on your lives. Below is my youtube trailer entitled "Life of a Fashionista" which shows you a brief glimpse of my life and my brand. Hope you enjoy and once again, welcome to 2015!
Earlier this week, I was asked to be the LSU Highlight of Tiger TV's Hottest show, "The Hot Spot"! It was truly an honor to get interviewed by Marlon Green also know as "ohmarlongreen". This dude is so talented, he can act, sing, produce, and is the funniest guy on campus. It was great working with him again because I got asked some really good questions and I feel like my brand SierraSharae & all that it represents was displayed perfectly! Thanks again to The Hot Spot crew! Much Love! If you all want to see the full episode of the 2013 Halloween Special of the Hot Spot, CLICK HERE!
Last Sunday, I was asked to be in a shoot for a slideshow showcasing the different businesses, entrepreneurs, and talented ones around Baton Rouge. I was asked to be in the slideshow for the Divine Obsessions Hair Studio photoshoot. My hair was styled by the skilled Vee (instagram: vbabyyyy_), my make-up was done by the amazing Mo (instagram: sugahoneeicetea), & my photographer was the talented Leetric (instagram: Leetric_w). I'm so thankful for the opportunity to work with these greats. Above are some of the pics from the shoot.
Hey you all! I know i've been M.I.A. (Missing in Action) for a few weeks but I'm back and now that my school semester is winding down & summer's on the way, I will have so much more time to make posts! Today's post is about the latest Hit or Hot poll that I've had up. It's finally time that I gave you all the results and then give my opinion on it. 23 people (About 88.5%) who voted thought that this Double Denim Jeans look was HIT, while the remaining 3 people (11.5%) who voted thought that this look was HOT. In my opinion, I don't think that I could wear this look because my personal style isn't as edgy and daring as Rihanna's but I don't think that it looks bad. RiRi definitely pulled this double da denim look off. She is a trendsetter from her constantly changing hairstyles and pointy claw nails to her rock star clothing style. Being in the spotlight is very hard with nonstop criticism from the tabloids but Rihanna is such a inspiration because she does what she wants, wears what she wants and is very unapologetic about it. That's what makes this look HOT! Go check out the new Hit or Hot by clicking here.
Hey you all! I wrote a song called Shopping Problems which is a remix to ASAP Rocky's new hit "Problems" and I decided to make a lil bootleg music video to go along with it. It was just something that I did for fun. I would like to give a shout-out to my friend Kareem who helped & motivated me to sit down and write the song. I would also like to give a shout-out to my family that I show throughout some of the scenes in the video. This was my first time writing, rapping, producing and making a music video and I did it all in the matter of a week. I'm telling you this just so that you can know you can do anything if you focus and put your mind to it. Go check it out! I hope the song will be a female anthem! Laterrrr!
About a week ago when I launched the website, I posted the first Hit or Hot poll. I asked you all what you thought about celebrity men wearing skirts. I saw that it was a new trend and that celebrities such as Kanye West, Vin Diesel, Diddy, & even Chad OchoCinco have all sported it. As you see from the results, 35 people voted that the "Man Skirt" was hit and only one person thinks that it's hot. Me personally, I agree with the 35 people that voted hit. I'm sorry but I just don't think that this is cute! Skirts are a very feminine item of clothing and the only man that can dress feminine & get away with it is Tyler Perry. I hope that these guys leave this trend in 2012 because it is soooo... HIT! Now, go check out the new Hit or Hot and vote.
Hey you guys! I hope that you all had a great Christmas, got to enjoy time with your family & friends, and got to eat some good food. I know I did! I just wanted to show you guys some behind the scenes clips of my latest photoshoot for TheRougeCollection.net that I did on Christmas Eve. My outfit was a red puffy shouldered top with my new black leather skater skirt. With this, I wore some black fishnet stockings, a bold sliver statement piece necklace & some red chunky tie-up boots. Hope you guys enjoy. Also, Don't forget about the giveaway! The last day is Sunday. The rules are in the post below.
The site, The Rouge Collection, which I talked about in my last post does something every week called Ruby of the Week & guess who got chosen to be this weeks' ruby!? If you guessed me, correct! Basically, Ruby of the week shows pictures of beautiful people and a brief bio that came from some interview questions that was asked. Go to the site to check out my write-up!
My first Photoshoot with The Rouge Collection was very fun & a great new experience for me! First off,if you've never heard of The Rouge Collection i'll tell you a little about it. The Rouge Collection is a play on words to describe what’s Red Hot. It's a online site started in Baton Rouge by some street smart, business minded individuals that put their ideas together to make something great, which is a collection of photo’s and articles to not only talk about but show beautiful people and beautiful places. The collection includes interesting articles from dedicated writers in the area that want to get their voices heard. I call it the site for the people, by the people. But back to my first photoshoot... It was very enjoyable and laid-back but professional at the same time. I worked with Gary Chambers, the photographer, and Brandi Cann, the Creative Director, who were both 2 down-to-earth people with great vision. I look forward to what The Rouge Collection has to come and I am very grateful for the opportunity of working with The Rouge Collection & look forward to working with them more in the future. If you haven't seen the site yet, go check it out!
