Camo Crazy: How to Wear Camo Print

Hey you guys! I am so happy to FINALLY be posting this video. You don't even understand!! I have been wanting to do this for over a year and now it's done. Some of these clips were filmed last year and some were filmed recently. Although it's almost Summer and camouflage is usually a Fall print, I wear it year-round. You guys know I don't follow the rules, and in this case, you don't have to either. It's ok to go a little Camo Crazy. Outfit details are below. Hope you enjoy!

Look 1
Can you believe that this is a men's T-shirt!? I found it while in the attic this past December while I was searching for Christmas stuff. When I saw it, I immediately thought, "I can work with this"! It was easy. All I did was add a gold statement belt & some boots and there was my simple and inexpensive outfit.

Look 2
For this outfit, I wanted to give off a more militant vibe. I paired these loose camo pants with a fitted military jacket to balance out the look. You can also wear this outfit without the jacket with just a tank top. Pair it with some black combat boots and your look is complete.

Look 3
This is a more feminine look that can easily be achieved by mixing the camo print with a soft, neutral or pastel color. I chose a nude pink with wedges and a clutch to match. I also kept it cute by adding a pair of shades and dangly earrings.

Look 4
This is another really easy look to achieve! Everyone has a pair of jeans! I chose high-waisted ones, but you can wear boyfriend jeans, distressed jeans or even jean shorts with a camo blouse like this. The thing that really makes this look stand out is having a bag that pops! I chose a mustard yellow bag and keep the rest simple with camel-colored sandals.

Look 5 & 6
I wanted to show that camo is a print that you can dress up or down by doing something as simple as changing the shoes. It's your choice. I chose to tuck my camo shirt into my favorite leather skirt. Yes, this is the same skirt that sold-out on my site 2 years ago and i'm still rocking it! I added a cute statement piece bracelet that I got from Target and my black Aldo clutch. I wore the combat boots in look 5 for a more casual look and switched into heels for a more dressy outfit in look 6.

Chic-Sweet-Street Lookbook

In this video, I give you a lookbook showing off 3 fun and flirty looks which are Chic, Sweet, & Street. I hope you all enjoy! Below I will list the outfit details. (Note that this video is for inspiration and I didn't list the specific places that I purchased majority of the items. This is because a lot of them are pieces that I've had for years.)

Look 1: Chic
This look is for the woman that's classy and bold. I wore a black & white houndstooth cardigan with a black tank top and light gray skinny jeans. I added my red sandals with the gold spikes and red lips for a pop of color and a black floppy hat to complete this look. This look is really easy to put together and it gives you a mysterious yet glamorous vibe.

Look 2: Sweet
Whenever you combine a skirt, the color pink, and floral print, you are bound to end up with a outfit that is very feminine and sweet. I paired a pink sweater with a floral print skirt and some tan sandals that i've been holding on to for years. To make the look even more girly, I added a gold and pearl statement piece necklace from icing along with pink lips.

Look 3: Street
Sometimes I like to switch it up and look more swaggy and comfortable. This outfit is really easy to put together. First, I cropped my hoodie by cutting off the pouch-like pocket. Then, I paired it with my distressed, high-waisted jeans. I wore the same red lipstick and heels that I did in the first look because I wanted to put a sexier twist on the hoodie look. Although I wore heels, you can always wear some Chucks or Jordans instead for a super comfortable look.

Leather Looks for the Fall/Winter

Hey you all! I know, I know, it's been a little minute since i've made a post and I blame it all on my hectic school semester. Although school has been keeping me busy, don't think that I haven't been filming and working on some things. Today, I just wanted to give you all a throwback video that I made around New Year's last year. Even though it was originally made for New Year's, you can wear these outfits for other outings as well. This video gives you 3 different looks that all incorporate leather, which is the season's hottest staple that's here to stay. Hope you all enjoy and be on the lookout because I have some new videos coming soon! Later!

Summer Lookbook

In this video, I show you all 6 fun & flirty looks that you guys can wear this Summer using pieces that you all may have in your closet. Below is a description of each outfit.

Look 1: Tie Dye
This outfit is very simple with a Tie Dye dress that I got from Century 21 in New York, paired with a pale pink clutch and wedges. For accessories, I wore a gold DIY (Do It Yourself) body chain that I made, a gold mirrored bangle & my gold cross ringlets. This outfit is perfect for a lunch date.

Look 2: Flower Power
In this look, I wear a nude colored cami and some high-waisted shorts along with my favorite floral chiffon shirt that I wore unbuttoned to look like a kimono. I accessorized this outfit with my DIY floral headband that I  made, some shades and a teal cross-body bag. For shoes, I wore some cognac colored strappy sandals. The sandals have a heel but it's low enough where it wouldn't be painful to walk in for long periods of time. You could also exchange the sandals for some flip flops if you don't want to wear heels at all. This outfit would be great for any festival event where you would want to be fashionable but comfortable.

Look 3: Pastels
This is my favorite outfit in the lookbook because it's so feminine and chic! I wore my nude pink crocheted blouse that I also purchased from Century 21 in New York with a mint colored skater skirt that I purchased from Forever 21. I  also wear my same pale pink wedges that I work in the first look, along with my gold bangle. You can wear this look for a nice day out with the girls or mid-day happy hour.

Look 4: Maxed Out
This look is very quick & simple to achieve. I just wore a striped maxi with some color-blocked wedges. I also wore my gold tribal earrings and a forest green belt to cinch in the waist. You can wear you're maxi with or without a belt, but I prefer to wear mines with a belt because sometimes maxis can be a little loose & unflattering to my figure. You can also substitute your wedges for sandals. Maxi's are great for when you're out running you're everyday errands or if you just want to look cute effortlessly.

Look 5: Shady Lady
In this look, I strut in a lavender sleeveless chiffon shirt that's tucked into a purple skirt. I wore a neutral colored cami beneath the shirt and some white & gold sandals. This outfit is very similar to the color-blocking trend but instead of combining different colors, I mixed different shades of the same color. This can be done with done with any color and any wardrobe pieces. This is something cute that I would wear to class or for a walk through the park.

Look 6: Gone with the Wind Fabulous
Lastly, I wrap the lookbook up with a flowy high-low dress that came with a chain waist belt. I kept this look really simple by wearing some sandals but you can always dress it up with some heels and a blazer. This outfit would be good for a night on the town to do something cool like going to a elegant open mic night or to a museum. You could even wear this dress to a summer wedding if accessorized properly.

Hope you enjoy and be on the look out for more fashion lookbooks!

K.I.S.S.

Got a date night coming up... or do you need something cute and simple to wear for Valentine's Day?? My motto for today is "K.I.S.S."...Keep It Simple Stupid. lol. It's crazy how we can sometimes put the least effort into a look and that's when it's complemented the most. I actually wore this outfit sometime last year on a dinner date and the reason why I think my date liked it was because of the simplicity. Guys already know that when you wear a tight fitted dress along with a face full of make-up and voluptuous hair/weave that you'll look gorgeous... but they like to be reassured that when you take all that extra stuff away that you'll still be that beautiful and confident woman that caught his eye in the first place.  In this video, I show you all a simple way to wear peplum with a natural make-up look. & don't get me wrong... there's NOTHING wrong with doing the most, but just remember, sometimes doing LESS is MORE.

New Year's Eve Inspiration: Leather Looks

Leather should be a staple in your closet and if you are looking for some New Year's Eve Inspiration, you've come to the right place. In this video, I show you all 3 different leather looks that can be rocked anytime during the fall or Winter and the best part about these looks are that they are all affordable and you probably have majority of the pieces in your closet already. Hope you enjoy!

Look 1: Leather Shorts
This look is for those that want to be cute and comfortable. I paired these faux leather shorts that I got from Forever 21, which was about $25, with a white chiffon shirt with gold sequins and buttons that I think I got from Love Culture about a year ago. The heels that I chose to wear was my peep-toe tie-ups that I think I got from Payless a year ago. The only accessories that I wore were some black and gold earrings from Love Culture that complemented the outfit. I didn't want to wear a necklace because it would take away from the sequined collar. I left my hair straight with a flipped side-bang and the make-up look that I went for was golden-plum eyes with wings, lashes and a soft pink lip.

Look 2: Leather Skirt & Leather Boots
This is for those that want a look that's fun and flirty. I paired my SierraSharae.com faux leather skirt with a light blue denim shirt that I brought from Forever 21 months ago. The black leather boots were a Christmas gift from last year that I matched with some thigh-high socks that I found in Forever 21 the other day. They were a necessity for a playful look and for about $5, I couldn't pass them up. The only accessories that I wore in this outfit were the same black and gold earrings from Love Culture and a black and gold strapy "watchlet". This time I did soft curls with a regular hair curler that has a 1 inch & a half barrel. The make-up look that I went for was the same golden-plum eyes with wings and lashes but instead a dark purple lip. (This outfit was very similar to a outfit that I did in my "Ways to Wear a Leather Skirt Video" but with a twist. If you want to see CLICK HERE.)

Look 3: Leather Jacket
This look is for the GROWN and SEXY. I wore a black and white, tight-fitted Aztec printed dress from Forever 21, with a black leather jacket from Body Central, which were both Christmas presents. The black leather jacket gives the look that perfect edge while keeping it feminine with the dress that shows your silhouette. The shoes that I wore were my red and black heels with gold spikes that I got from Alloy.com. I love those shoes!! The accessories that I wore in this outfit were the same black and gold earrings from Love Culture, a gold choker and the same black and gold strapy "watchlet" that I wore in the second look. My hair was wand curled and the make-up look that I went for was once again the same golden-plum eyes with wings and lashes but this time a red lip. I'll admit that the red lip is kind of bold with the golden-plum eye shadow look, so I would advise you to lighten up the eyes if you're going to try this look.

You can mix and match these make-up looks, hairstyles and outfits in so many ways. Just remember that the fun thing about fashion is finding new ways to wear the same old pieces of clothing. To me it's a challenge that I enjoy taking on and I hope you will too.
