My LSU Graduation Vlog

Hey guys! With this being my first post of 2016, I want to start off by telling you all that I hope your New Year is going well and that you are making the most out of every minute. It's only the beginning of February and this year seems like it will be a great one for me. I have so many goals that I want to accomplish this year and I pray that God continues to bring me closer each day.

Last year, a major goal of mines was to graduate from college. Getting a college diploma has always been a big deal to me because it was something that no one in my family had done. Receiving a college degree was important to me because I wanted to break the cycle and prove to my family that it's possible for us to do this.

On May 15th, 2015, I graduated from Louisiana State University and I have to admit that it is a day that I will never forget! I was so grateful to have the support from all of my family and close friends and I wanted to make a video to showcase that. I am also thankful for the experience that I received while I was at LSU and all the unforgettable people that I met. I am so blessed for all of my college memories and friends (even if they aren't in this video), because those very things and people helped to mold me into the woman that I am today, along with my friends and family that have been there since day one. I hope that you all enjoy the video and thank you for continuing to support me.

Sierra Sharae Takes New York Pt.2: China Town & Little Italy

This week on Sierra Sharae Takes New York I bring you to China Town and Little Italy. One thing about New York is that it's a big melting pot full of different cultures. It was so interesting to see China Town and Little Italy because it was such a culture shock. First, My friends and I checked out some stores in China Town. China Town is infamous for it's sales of Designer Knock offs. Multiple times, a street Saleswoman or Salesman discretely asked me did I want to buy a Gucci or Michael Kors bag. I'd have to admit, they know how to hustle. After China Town, we went to Little Italy. It was so cool to see the graffiti on the sides of the buildings. Near one of the graffiti paintings that I show in the video, there was a Gelato and Italian Ice stand. They also had freshly made Canolies and a stand where a guy was making Cigars right in front of the street walkers eyes. Something else that I loved about Little Italy was the way that the restaurants were set up. All of them had areas outside where you could eat or you could go inside. Most people enjoyed sitting outside to eat their meals. We decided to have dinner in a restaurant named LUNA. The food was delicious and you could tell that there were real Italians in the back cooking it. Check out my video above so you can see for yourself.

Date Night OOTD: Spiked Peplum

Heyyy! Saturday I had a dinner date with one of my friends from out of town and I wanted to wear somthing cute and effortless. I wore my wine colored, spiked peplum top that i'm now selling on my site under the shop tab. I love this top because it's a combination of the two popular trends, spikes & peplum! It has gold spikes around the neckline and on the shoulders and in the back it goes a little longer than it does in the front for a subtle hi-low effect. This top looks good & feels good on. Along with it I wore my distressed jeans, arm candy watch & bracelet, & a cute purse that matches the heels. Check out the video!

OOTD: Getting Ready for Spring!

Hey Fashionistas! I know it's been a while since i've done a Outfit of the Day video so i'm posting one to get you all ready for the spring. Majority of the pieces that I wore for this outfit came from Forever 21 and Love Culture with the exception of the necklace from Charlotte Russe. You can switch this outfit up several ways. Add a blazer to make it more dressy or you can add some flats to dress it down and make it more relaxed and class appropriate. Hope you enjoy & leave comments telling me what you all think. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for my First Song / Bootleg Music Video that i've been working on & will launch this weekend. Later! ;)
