Hey Fashionistas! I know it's been a while since i've done a Outfit of the Day video so i'm posting one to get you all ready for the spring. Majority of the pieces that I wore for this outfit came from Forever 21 and Love Culture with the exception of the necklace from Charlotte Russe. You can switch this outfit up several ways. Add a blazer to make it more dressy or you can add some flats to dress it down and make it more relaxed and class appropriate. Hope you enjoy & leave comments telling me what you all think. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for my First Song / Bootleg Music Video that i've been working on & will launch this weekend. Later! ;)
In this Video, I show you 6 different ways to wear a Black Faux Leather Skirt! I tried to keep it simple by using mostly black because that's a color that just about everyone has in their closet but you can change the looks up in many different ways. I'll explain below.
Look 1: Pop of Color
In this look, I matched up the skirt with a white chiffon shirt with Faux Leather detailing on the collar & the sleeves. Then I just paired it with cobalt blue heels & clutch for a pop of color. You can make this look pop with many different colors.
Look 2: Business Chic
This is the look when you want to look like you're about your business but still stylish at the same dang time! You can change up your accessories with this look. You can also make this look pop by changing the color of the blazer, the shirt, or the heels.
Look 3: A Little Denim
In this look, I paired the skirt with the oh so popular denim shirt. I just tucked it into the skirt and to give it a edgy look, I rocked it with some black leather booties that have a combat look. I also did purple lips & eyeshadow for a hint of color that stands out without being too bold.
Look 4: Tie a Knot
In this look, I wore the same exact thing but just untucked the denim shirt & tied the bottom for a more fun & relaxed look.
Look 5: Pin-Up with a T-shirt
For this look, I wanted to show you how to wear your skirt with something as simple as a t-shirt. I wore a graphic t-shirt that I got from a club that I'm involved in at school along with some fishnet stockings. Since the shirt has a hint of red in it, I chose to do red lips but you can always change it up. You can also pair it with a pair of combat boots for a more laid back look.
Look 6: Throw on a Sweater
In the last look, for the days when you want to have a fun, playful & comfy look, match your skirt with your favorite sweater.
This video is something that I made to show you all how to do handwriting DIY (Do It Yourself) Nails using Sally Hansen's Nail Salon Polish Strips. I got the strips from CVS for about $10. This is something that you can do if you can't make it to the nail salon but want your nails to look cute & chic. I chose to do the Handwriting style nails, but there are many other different kinds of designs to fit your personal style. Hope you all enjoy.
